Still waiting to pass the HVAC inspection…. supposedly it’ll happen on Monday and then we can finally start drywalling.
Meanwhile, the hardipanel on the exterior has been installed. It’ll be painted (not sure of color yet… currently thinking about a burnt orange color for the hardipanel and greyish-brown for the stucco). There are white metal trim pieces that divide the hardipanel and act as an accent. These will remain white.
Here are some updated photos:

Hi,
We are using smooth hardipanel on our exterior as well, but are having trouble finding a caulking material. Can you tell me what you used?
Thank you,
Renee

Very cool house. We are looking to do something similar in Candler Park. Would you mind sending me your address, we’d like to drive by and see your house from the outside.
Cheers,
Brendan

Hi – first of all I love the design of your house, it looks fantastic. Secondly, I wanted to ask how the Hardipanel was attached – did you use standard nails / screws? I have seen a few applications where exposed fasteners are used for an interesting effect.
The white trim pieces between the panels look great too, do you know what that material is? We are having a little trouble finding anyone with experience installing Hardipanel in our area and may just end up putting it on ourselves!
